Patrick B. Fazzone is an advisor to U.S. and overseas-based companies doing business in the United States and internationally. For more than twenty-five years Patrick has helped clients from all industry sectors navigate the complex legal and regulatory environment facing them in the U.S. and in international markets. His focus is to understand clients’ businesses and growth objectives and assist them in achieving their goals. Structuring Your Commercial Transactions

Patrick provides strategic legal advice and assistance on the key issues facing companies:

  • Structuring and negotiating commercial transactions;
  • Project and trade financing;

  • Protecting intellectual property protection;
  • Transferring staff internationally;
  • Dealing with regulatory issues confronted by growth-oriented companies.

Doing Business with Governments

For clients involved in government contracting, Patrick counsels U.S. and non-U.S. companies on the range of key considerations in selling to the federal and state governments:

  • Developing successful bidding strategies;
  • Negotiating and concluding contracts and subcontracts on U.S. Government projects;
  • Protecting key intellectual property in performing government contracts;
  • Qualifying for small business set aside programs;
  • Complying with other requirements in the performance of work for the federal government.

He has represented potential and actual government contractors across the range of the federal agencies, including the U.S. Departments of Defense, Energy and State, the Agency for International Development, and the Federal Aviation Administration.


International Trade

Patrick routinely advises clients on customs matters, export controls, international trade agreements, and has represented clients in connection with the full range of international trade regulatory proceedings before the U.S. Government. He has represented the interests of global business groups in connection with a number of the most significant international trade initiatives in recent years.

Patrick has published, taught, and spoken widely on international business and trade regulatory matters throughout the U.S. and in Europe, Australia and Asia. He has worked actively with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on a range of important international initiatives. He is also a regular participant in activities of the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce and is the founder and Chairman of the Trade and Government Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia.
