We work closely with our clients on developing, implementing and enforcing mechanisms for the protection of their intangible assets. We assist clients in achieving protection of patents, trademarks, copyright and other IP through registration in the United States and in other countries around the world. We also counsel clients in a range of industrial sectors in the protection of trade secrets including in countries where these are not recognized as a specific form of intellectual property. We develop strategies for clients to protect their IP assets in commercial transactions and to extract value from that property in licensing transactions. We also counsel and represent our clients in enforcing their internal procedures against unauthorized use of IP assets and in identifying and taking measures against misappropriation of trade secrets and other intellectual property.
